Wall-e

We took the boys to see the new Pixar film, Walle, this afternoon......My oldest, 11, said he loved it and all the "action" but my youngest who is 7, said it was sad........I found it to be sad too for the most part but still it's a charming film.......You will adore Wall-e and even his pet cockroach!! Yuck.........can't believe I just typed that but you will, trust me.......The animation as usual is wonderful but the premise is very unsettling as basically earth has been completely trashed and everyone is living in what seems to be a cruise ship environment in space!! The technology is fun fun fun for sure.......It a great movie for adults but maybe not for super small children......

I had a neat pic of Wall-e but it won't display properly:((

Ranch n' Roll Crisps!

O.k. I admit I love fun, delicious and super simple recipes and this one fits the bill on all 3! My oldest son loves to sample all the goodies at Sams club and this was one of their tasty treats......Easy easy and sew yummy!! Maybe a fun treat for your July 4th celebration!

Roll Casa di Bertacchi Italian meatballs in Hidden Valley Ranch Dry Seasoning.

Heat meatballs on cookie sheet in oven at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove meatballs and allow to cool, then cut into halves.

Serve halved meatballs on New York Style Bagel Crisps!

Oh my gosh these are so yummy and my son loved them too. Now one note, all of these products are available at your Sams Club. I had some meatballs at home but since they were another brand, I had to vary the cooking time.......Sew you may want to watch them with your first batch.......

Good luck and let me know if you try them:))

Goodbye for a Week, My Precious Son!

Well I can't believe it's already the end of June which meant Boy Scout camp for months now......I was not ready, I gotta tell you for my oldest who is only 11 to be 2 states away for 1 week without my hubby or me........I miss him so much and I just got off the phone with him a little bit ago..........He had to buy a phone card to call as there is no reception there for a cell phone......I sent mine but apparently it won't work.........He sounded o.k. but I could tell he was homesick. So I packaged up some of his favorite goodies and a Nick magazine and ran to the post office tonight so he would get it hopefully by tomorrow........Well I can hope anyway.........
The picture was taken as he was loaded up ready to go on Sunday morning.....As you can see he doesn't look well all that happy!!

Boy I really wasn't ready for this at all!

Well I've decided that every Friday I will feature a wonderful Artist "show off" on my blog. I am so excited about this as I have met sew many wonderful folks while I've been selling on Etsy. The friendship is one of my favorite benefits of selling there........

This Friday's featured artist is BeadsbyEvelyn! She has the most gorgeous jewelry and has become such a dear friend to me. Here's a bit more about Evelyn from her Etsy profile!

Hey there, I started life in Germany, came to the great USA 18 years ago, and live in a beautiful coastal Georgia fishing village called Shellman Bluff with my husband, Gary, a Rhodisian Ridgeback named Stormy, and a Heinz 57 cat named Suzie :)I'm a Travel Agent by day and a Jewelry maker the rest of the time :) I've always been crafty (crochet, glass mosaics, etc) and then i bought a Beginners Beading Kit several years ago. I remember the first pair of earrings I made sold that day from my kitchen table! I haven't stopped buying beads and making jewelry since. Thankfully i then found Etsy and began my online selling experiences :)
Oh and did I mention that Evelyn has been featured on the FRONT PAGE of ETSY!!

Newest Fobs in My Shop!

I
absolutely adore making fobs and of course using the gorgeous fabrics created by Amy Butler for Rowan. Wow the colors and designs are simply beautiful..........

Here are my 2 newest fobs I just added......The first is using Amy Butler's Tangerine Full Moon Polka Dots fabric. I have the Lime Lotus Dots has been one of my best sellers this spring and I decided to add some of the other gorgeous colorways. Well this fabric is sew much prettier in person and it was really hard deciding what color webbing to use.........I hope everyone loves it!

Next is a new fob using Amy Butler's Olive Acanthus from her Belle collection. Boy this is a stunning fabric but I wasn't quite sure when I received it how I would use it for fobs. The designs are huge!! Really gorgeous but huge! Sew I didn't use it for a while, stepped back and looked at the designs within and voila, I used one of the pretty petite flower designs! I think it turned out really pretty!

On both fobs I used my newest Webbing color, Natural, which was just the perfect choice. I think both of these would make perfect little gifts for anyone.........To order please visit my Etsy shop or simply email me for a paypal invoice. Shipping is $2.00 to anywhere in US or Canada!
